The Art of Mike Dubisch

The Atlantean is a 50 page graphic novel I created with author Shanon Eric Denton. We tell the story of Drake, a blue collar hero who acquires strange powers for fighting monsters. I drew the graphic novel in a realistic, cinematic style. Shannon suggested we try the character out in a more comic-book style, the result of which is this experimental tribute to one of my favorite comic-book illustrators and a hella nice guy, Mike Mignola.
